1. Overview
VdoHide respects the intellectual-property rights of others and responds to valid copyright takedown notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
2. Filing a Takedown Notice
If you believe content hosted on VdoHide infringes your copyright, send a written notice containing all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The exact URL(s) of the infringing content on VdoHide
- Your full name, mailing address, and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
3. Counter-Notice
If your content was removed due to a takedown notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice containing your contact information, identification of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was erroneous, and your consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal court.
4. Repeat Infringers
Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing content are permanently terminated.
